Check out our frequently asked questions from potential hosts, and email us at hello@radious.pro if you want to chat!

  • All you need to start hosting with us is a table/desk and WiFi (most dining room sets work great as meeting tables and work surfaces) Learn more about what makes a great space here.

If you’re willing to add some extra things to your space, we recommend a whiteboard which, for a very small cost, will instantly turn any room into a collaborative brainstorm space.

Radious spaces come in all shapes and sizes, but generally, groups enjoy having private areas to sneak off to take private calls, but then a place for them to come back together to collaborate. Contact us to set up a video tour of your space to find out if it’s a good fit.n text goes here

  • Listing your space on Radious is free. When you get a booking, Radious only keeps 5% of your day rate, and bills an additional service fee to the guest. Our team is more than happy to work with you to decide on the perfect price point for you.

  • After your first booking, you’ll receive an email with instructions to get your bank connected to our payment system. Payments are sent on the 1st business day of the next month following completed workstays.

  • Since your guests won’t be staying overnight, there’ll be:

    • No laundry!

    • Less wear and tear on the property

    • Less work overall

    • And less risk:

      • Working professionals are more generally more conscientious than the average traveler looking to crash at your place. Less risk, more trust.

There’s also the potential to earn more per day with Radious than on other short-term rental platforms.

  • There doesn’t need to be a separate entrance to the space you list on Radious. There are private rooms listed on our platform that don’t include access to the full home. You’ll just designate this in your listing as “shared” and explain anything necessary to guests in the description. We’re here if you need help with your description!

  • Nope! You can list in multiple places — in fact, we encourage it! We think that diversifying is a great way for hosts to be able to supplement their income. Just make sure that you either have a workstation in your existing rental or an area that can be used for meetings — like a living room with a TV for presentations or a great dining set for things like board meetings or working lunches. Visit our “Basics of Creating a Rentable Office Space” blog post for more info. Also - our calendars sync with other platforms so you never have to worry about double bookings.

  • Yep! Our calendars sync between platforms so you never have to worry about being double-booked. Plus, we send you monthly calendar recaps to make sure everything is looking shipshape.

  • Yep! And possibly more, depending on the type of space you have. We’ve found that many of our hosts are able to earn more with us per day when their spaces can accommodate small groups (3+ people) for meetings, presentations, and brainstorms.

Plus what a great way to supplement income on notoriously slow weekdays. And if you live in a geography that has a slow season, well, just remember that office space is in demand all year round!

And of course, offices require much less work on your part: no changing of bed linens, for example. Not to mention more responsible renters (working professionals) and less wear-and-tear on your place.

  • We have several hosts who rent out the very properties they live in, and they do so in two different ways:

    1. You set it as a “private” listing and simply leave the hours you’ve designated as check-in/check-out. Then come back in the evening after check out and that’s that.

    2. You set it as a “shared” listing and make it clear that you’ll be on site while guests are there.

  • Our guests are primarily businesses and teams, so we recommend outfitting your spaces with common office amenities such as:

    • A whiteboard

    • External monitors with adapters

    • Coffee and/or sparkling water (make sure to have enough for the capacity of your space!)

These are not mandatory, but having them will definitely help increase bookings on Radious (and can be a nice perk for your overnight guests from other platforms too!)
