Host Spotlight: David in Sellwood, Portland

Meet David, one of our newest hosts to join the platform. He has a gorgeous workspace, perfect for medium-sized groups to meet and work, in the Sellwood neighborhood in Portland. Check out his listing here.

Originally from New Orleans, David and his family moved to Portland in 2007 after falling in love with the Oregon lifestyle. At the time, David had just started up an e-commerce Certified B Corporation furniture design company called Fully. Certified B Corporations are leaders in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. For Fully, that meant not only taking responsibility for their own social and environmental impact, but also seeking out suppliers and manufacturers who were doing the same.

Today, MillerKnoll owns Fully. But after committing the last 20 years to creating environments for people to work better, David is still passionate about furniture that is beautiful, well-built, and designed to create a healthy, supportive workplace where everyone can feel and do their best. As he puts it, we do our best work when our bodies are relaxed and comfortable, so that was the premise behind all their designs.

When a friend told him about Radious, he was excited to list his property. He understands the challenges companies are experiencing over office space and in-person work. His home features many of his design pieces (such as Jarvis adjustable-height desks and various ergonomic chairs), and the idea of renting it during the day for people to do creative work is very exciting to him.

We are just as excited about David. We love how invested he is in offering healthier ways to work, and we welcome him to the Radious family.
