Recap: We hosted an open Rad Workday!

As a fun way to let people test out Radious firsthand, we decided to host a #RadWorkday in early May. It turned out to be a fantastic experience for everyone involved and we’re excited to share about it here!

How it worked:

  • Radious booked a large Radspace in SE Portland - centrally located but not downtown - large enough to comfortably fit 10 working professionals

  • We invited our community to sign-up for timeslots to be at the space with us. They could stay for as long or as little as they would like.

  • Working pros could join us in the living room or dining room for some coworking vibes, or they could set up at one of the three workstations available

  • We surprised folks with local coffee and catered lunch (and sparkling water, of course!) to be sure everyone could stay focused and productive

Highlights of the day:

  • Being able to showcase a Radspace to potential investors

  • Meeting folks in person we’ve only ever emailed with(!!)

  • Connecting with the host of the Radspace to chat about the platform, her strategy as a host, and how we can better help her earn more and subsidize her mortgage

  • The thrill of seeing people connect from different industries & companies

  • Having impromptu chats with people around the coworking table and learning about how Radious could fit into their workdays moving forward

  • Watching folks ride up to the space on their bicycles because it was so conveniently located to their own neighborhood

  • Hearing things like “I wish my company provided something like this for us” or “This was a perfect way to get out of my house for a bit!”

  • Watching everyone experience the best of both worlds: working remotely while connecting with people IRL!

More to come.

We want to thank everyone who made it out to experience Radious with us. We’re looking forward to more Rad Workdays in the future!
